MARK

MARK is the currency circulating in the game and is equivalent to the exchange and transaction medium of the game. General items and equipment in the game are anchored to it, and players must use the currency to purchase these items. When players use MARK to redeem items, the currency is recycled and burned in the system. The only way to obtain MARK is to complete tasks and work (by planting, breeding, processing, etc.). The proportion of MARK earned by completing tasks and work is 2:8. The output of MARK is based on the increase or decrease of the game’s GDP. For regulation, the supply of MARK increases according to the F(x) function when GDP increases, and the supply of MARK decreases according to the specific function F(x) when GDP decreases, but the daily limit is no more than 1 billion.

MARK definition: It is a universal payment token in the game, similar to real-world cash.

MARK function: It acts as a trading medium for general props in the game and is used to calculate the transaction value. The game's general props and equipment are anchored MARK, players to buy these props must use MARK to settlement. (note: general props refer to the description of the White Paper)

MARK use mechanism: There are two markets for MARK, one is the C2C market, where players and players buy and sell props using mark to settle transactions. The other is the N2C market, which is a transaction between players and NPC. NPC intervenes according to C2C transaction activity and supply. When NPC takes the initiative to buy players' props for sale, the props of NPC enter the hands of players, and MARK enters the hands of NPC, but MARK will be destroyed.

MARK acquisition: the only way to obtain MARK is to complete the task and work (planting, breeding, processing, etc.), the proportion to obtaining MARK between completing task and working is 2:8.

MARK supply: MARK is the money in the game, and the money supply is closely related to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the game. The daily increase or decrease of GDP automatically regulates the supply of MARK. When GDP increases, MARK supply rises according to F (x) specific function, while GDP decreases according to F (x) specific function, but the daily upper limit does not exceed 1 billion.

MARK inflation&deflation design:

Deflation method 1: use MARK to buy props and seeds, cubs such as cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens, production raw materials, etc.

Deflation method 2: NPC will destroy MARK when selling props.

Deflation method 3: the game scene destroys MARK, there are scenes of ransom caught stealing vegetables, consumption scenes of farm community competitions, and so on.

Inflation method 1: the level of the game playing process is constantly upgraded to get the experience reward MARK.

Inflation method 2: sell cash crops to NPC to earn MARK.

Inflation method 3: earn MARK in the game scene.

MARK Token Issuance Restriction Plan

1. Scheme:

Transfer the minting authority of the current MARK token contract to the newly developed MARK token issuance restriction plan. Both the MARK token contract and the MARK token issuance restriction contract are open source contract codes.

Expected time and code of contract open source: 12:00pm December 7th, 2021(San Francisco time), will be announced on official Twitter at that time.

2. Reasons for adopting the scheme:

At present, since MARK token have been deployed to the official HECO chain, and 1 billion MARK has been issued, various projects are already using the token contracts, and there are already a large number of users holding MARK token. In order to reduce the workload, this solution is adopted.

3. Conditions for restricting additional issuance:

(1) MARK token issuance restriction contract can set the "the start time of token additional issuance", which can only be set once, and then additional tokens can be issued after setting;

(2) After startup, after every 28800 block heights (every 3 seconds will create a block on HECO chain, 3sx28800=86400s, that is, 1 day), 1 billion additional pieces can be issued;

(3) Calculated from the "start time of token additional issuance", additional issuance can be continued for 3 years (365x3=1095 days), and the additional issuance will be permanently suspended after 3 years. A total of 1,095 billion MARK will be issued in total, that is, the maximum supply is 1,095 billion MARK. After the height of 31536000 blocks, the additional issuance will be permanently stopped (28800x1095=31536000).

It is expected that additional token issuance will start on December 16, 2021. The HECO chain block height is expected to be 10914540 when the additional issuance is initiated. After 3 years of 31536000 blocks, the additional issuance will stop after reaching the block height of 42450540.

GMARK

There will be no upper limit on the player tasks for all participants who jointly build the DAO in Plato Farm. But Plato Farm will release 1 billion MARK every day and distribute to all players based on their contribution values which are marked as GMARK tokens. GMARK indicates the gross national product of the Plato Farm world.

  1. Rules for swapping GMARK and MARK

1)To swap MARK token with GMARK, the GMARK in the game center has to be recycled and burned. The platform then accordingly mint the burned GMARK into NFT in the personal account and charges 25% of the swapped MARK token as transaction fee.

2)The system supplies a fixed number up to 1 billion MARK for token swap every day. Starting from 0:00, Plato Farm will put 40 million MARK in the pool every hour and at 23:00, it will release 80 million MARK in the pool everyday.

3)When the hourly MARK released is used up, participants can not use the transfer service within this hour; if the hourly MARK released in this hour is not completely transferred, the remaining quantity will be accumulated to the next hour.

4)Players can obtain GMARK in various ways in the game, and Plato Farm counts the total number of GMARK in real time.

5)On the first day when the swap starts, the ratio of GMARK to MARK is set to 1:1

6)The swap rate will be updated each hour.

7)If we set the remaining GMARK as m1, and the residual MARK as m2, then the current swap ratio is n:1.

8)When the swap ratio is refreshed, if m1>m2, the swap ratio will be adjusted to (n+0.1): 1. The lowest ratio is 1:1, and there’s no upper limit.

2.Users have to use USDT to buy all kinds of seeds on Plato Farm, and income from selling these seeds will be directly injected into the MARK liquidity pool to stabilize the price.

3.Users have to use MARK to buy farm tools (paint/wood board/nails/cement/saw, etc.) and livestock (biddy/dairy cattle/pig/sheep). 25% of the MARK will be charged as transaction fee by the Plato Farm Treasury when players withdraw the MARK from the game. The fee will be used for the DAO governance to maintain the deflation of MARK by the continuous burning mechanism.
